Architecture Art Technology
I am passionate about architectural design and visualization. I thrive on both the technical precision of sophisticated design and the artistry involved in expressing architectural concepts through realistic computer graphics.
I grew up in Nanchang, a southeastern interior city in China. I have been studying and practicing architecture in the US for the past 8 years. I received my 5-year B.Arch degree from Virginia Tech (VT) in 2017. While at VT, I was accepted to the Washington Alexandria Architecture Center, where I was fortunate to explore architectural concepts like biomimicry and parametric design. Before graduating from VT, I became employed with a DC based architectural firm, specializing in restaurant and hospitality design . In 2019 I will complete my masters of art in interior architecture, with a focus on adaptive reuse, at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). At RISD, I found another ways to employ my passion, through graphic design, industrial design and web design; I believe this is another way that I can harness art and technology to communicate deeply with my audience.
